Fludity And Rigidity | Design Research

Inspired from the patterns created by waves as they flow through rigid surfaces. This is a really interesting site, surrounded with water body and mild waves. The design showcases 3 basic modules with 2 rooms per module. The structure represents the rigid surfaces that create the interesting forms.

The modules are arranged randomly while giving a certain view of the water body and the landscaped central space to each room. The arrangement of the modules varies on each floor while the interior layout has been done based on framing the view from each room. The open terraces are quite interesting as they are connected to act as a corridor, besides this, the terraces are angled to different directions, framing interesting views of the water body and the landscaped space. The view from the terrace is very interesting as some parts of the modules are cantilevered. Each floor is connected with stairways. The whole block has been divided into three parts with stairways that connects the modules.
